Ted Swart is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of HOS BV.
Responsible for purchasing, directing the de-installation team and in charge of daily operations.
Marcel Hazeu is our Technical Director, responsible for engineering projects and overseeing everything that happens on the workfloor.
He has been in the refrigeration business for over 38 years, started as a refrigeration mechanic and has completed his studies as a refrigeration engineer.
Iwan is responsible for all commercial activities in HOS BV. He advises our customers and helps them make the right choices for machines, often working together with Marcel for more complex projects and installations.
Iwan has been in a Commercial role his entire career for over 30 years and has an educational background in Commercial and Financial Economics as well as Supply Chain Management.
This team takes care of a large range of activities.
Registering and photographing new inventory that has come in from the de-installation jobs we do and put on our website for our customers with as much as possible technical documentation.
And meanwhile also organizing all export documents that need to accompany the shipment.
Furthermore they are the spiders in the web providing support in logistics, sales and marketing and all other aspects that come out of the day-to-day practice.
This is the group of people working on all the equipment we sell. They have a vast variety of jobs ranging from testing the fan on an evaporator to testing a compressor and from welding headers on a condensor to convert it to a drycooler to configure the temperature set points on a chiller.
These people are constantly at work to give our customers the best possible condition used refrigeration equipment that HOS BV can possibley deliver.
This team reports to Marcel, our Technical Director.
Our four members of the overhauling department are responsible for overhauling between 80 and 110 compressors each year. They are certified to overhaul both reciprocating and screw compressors of all major brands.
Every overhauling starts with an inspection of the compressor, then order the parts, overhaul the compressor, do fine adjustments and perform a pressure-test.
Every overhauled compressor we deliver we also give the customer a full overhauling report with pictures, final axial clearance measurements etc.
Dick van den Bergh has run his own company RCF for many years and is a specialist in overhauling commercial and semi-industrial compressors. HOS BV have acquired RCF and now have Dick heading up the department for overhauling semi-industrial and commercial compressors, working closely together with Amit. Dick has already proven to be an invaluable source of experience and knowledge and continues his work as an employee of HOS BV in his specific expertise.
This team takes care of all logistics activities. Starting with our inventory, they make sure all equipment is in inventory and transport this in between our different warehouses so that all orders can be prepared carefully. This team also takes care of booking and confirming transport for customer orders whether by trailer over land, by overseas container or through the air. Furthermore they are responsible for maintaining the warehouses and all jobs that come with it.
This group of people is more or less constantly on the road going from job to job, de-installing the machines that end up on the HOS BV website for our customers.
Regardless of the country they operate in, they will always get the job done within the context of the environmental and safety regulations valid for that country.
The team is VCA certified and will organize the complete de-installation and organize cranes or forklifts locally if and when needed.
No job is too difficult or too big for these guys.
