HOS BV Invests in Environmentally Conscious Preparation and Spray Paint Rooms for Sustainable Working Environment
HOS BV is continuously working to operate in a more sustainable and greener way. We are therefore pleased to share with you our next step in this process: the introduction of our new preparation and spray paint rooms.
Environmentally Conscious Infrastructure
The new preparation and spray paint rooms, spanning 110 m2, were designed with environmental consideration. Constructed with fire-proof sandwich panels, the rooms enhance safety and insulation. Liquid-tight floors have been installed in both rooms to capture and dispose of any liquids responsibly.
Efficient Preparation and Paint Application
In the preparation room machines are pre-processed and prepared for the final stage of spray-painting the equipment in the following room. An efficient air suction and filtering system with re-circulation minimizes the expulsion and dispersion of any polluted air. In addition, we have replaced all oil-based paints with water-based paints, which not only reduces environmental impact but also creates a healthier work environment for our co-workers.
Sustainable Heating Using a Heat Pump
To further strengthen our environmentally friendly initiatives, we are currently working on installing a heat pump to heat our various spaces in an energy-efficient manner. By using renewable energy sources we are further reducing our ecological impact and operating more sustainably.
