HOS BV Announces Acquisition of RCF Nederland

At HOS BV we are pleased to announce the acquisition of RCF Nederland.

Demand for Sustainability
We live in a time where environmental awareness is increasing. Reusing equipment reduces waste and the demand for new equipment. Choosing used or reconditioned equipment ensures a smaller ecological footprint, and the costs are also much more favorable when purchasing. For this reason, at HOS BV we see that there is an increasing demand for used and reconditioned compressors.

Exchange of Knowledge and Expertise
The overhaul department at HOS BV mainly focuses on larger, heavier industrial compressors. Due to the growing demand for well-used compressors, it is therefore time to increase capacity and broaden the range. With the acquisition of RCF Nederland, it is possible to inspect and overhaul commercial piston and screw compressors. For HOS BV and its existing and new relations, this acquisition means an expansion of services and services.

RCF Nederland
The man behind RCF Nederland is Dick van den Bergh. Dick completed the MTS mechanical engineering course and then started working at IBK, a company that supplies complete heating and cooling solutions. With the necessary electrical and refrigeration engineering courses, he worked in the installation, services and planning sides of the company. Dick also started overhauling his first compressors at IBK. In 2002 he started his own business and started RCF Nederland. RCF Nederland focused primarily on the sale of overhauled compressors in the mid-range segment. In the following years, it also became a reliable address for having compressors overhauled. 22 years later, it is time for a new chapter, combining the knowledge and expertise of HOS BV and RCF Nederland. Dick becomes overhaul manager for commercial/semi-industrial piston and screw compressors at HOS BV, together with a team of employees.

Growing Together
The proverbial win-win certainly applies to this takeover. Thanks to the acquisition, the overhaul department will gain knowledge and expertise, and there will be capacity to meet the increased demand. The existing overhaul department at HOS BV consists of 4 technicians but has now increased by 3 technicians. For the customer, this means that we can offer a more complete service with a larger range. More and more reconditioned compressors will also be supplied from stock instead of to order, which ensures a much faster delivery time.
